With engineering services as well as equipment and systems for process engineering applications, Körting has stood for superb engineering and uncompromising quality since 1871.

Körting jet ejectors are the heart of many gas transfer systems. They are used in numerous fields of water treatment. Their form and design are determined by the type of motive and conveying medium as well as by the pressures prevailing at all three ejector connections. Ejectors are self-priming and operate without any moving parts. Their method of operation is based solely on the laws of fluid dynamics.

For many decades now the increasing number of possible applications of the Körting Hannover GmbH has distinguished themselves in diverse branches of industrial exploitation with great success. In this context, we also provide an essential contribution towards the observation of emission regulations and therefore also protection of the environment.

Körting transfer systems for air and oxygen consist of the following products:
- ejectors for waste water aeration
- ejectors for introducing gaseous oxygen
- jet pumps for pressurised dissolved air flotation
- jet pumps for de-acidification of potable water

Liquid jet mixing nozzles and tank mixing systems can be used instead of mechanical agitators and in many cases they even surpass their mixing results.

Körting Venturi and jet scrubbers offers various possibilities for the cleaning of waste gases.

Air and oxygen transfer systems

In its construction form the ejector for the aeration process corresponds to that of a jet ejector. Because organically polluted wastewater requires a high amount of oxygen and also because of the increasing height of modern biological waste water cleaning plants it is energetically more efficient to pre-compress the air mechanically to the hydrostatic pressure prevailing at the installation point of the ejector and to supply it so to the suction connection.

Liquid jet mixing nozzles

A liquid flow is taken from the tank and supplied to the liquid jet mixing nozzles via a motive pump. Inside the motive nozzle pressure energy is converted into kinetic energy. Negative pressure is generated at the motive nozzle outlet and the ambient liquid is sucked in. The suction flow is strongly intermixed with the motive flow in the adjoining mixing section and accelerated by impulse exchange. The drag effect of the exiting mixed flow increases the mixing effect.

Jet scrubbers

The jet scrubber conveys, absorbs, dedusts and cools the gas with the aid of the scrubbing medium. The scrubbed gas and the liquid phase are separated from one another in the separation tank. At the same time the tank acts as a buffer before the scrubbing liquid is distributed.
